The day after that, you’re recording an existential monologue on the duality of light and darkness for a video game series where Mickey Mouse once vowed to avenge Goofy’s death.
Do not be fooled by its commonplace appearance. Like so many things, it is not what is outside, but what is inside that counts. This is no ordinary lamp! It once changed the course of a young man’s life. A young man who, like this lamp, was more than what he seemed. A diamond in the rough.
We are not thriving. True, our people live, but our culture is dying. We are like a stone the ocean beats against. With each passing year a little more of us is worn away.
